Luna, Luna, my little moon,
Please don't grow up any time soon.
This world so holds many wonders to find,
But grown-ups don't have so open a mind.
Run and play and discover while you can,
If only to please this old man.
Laugh and sing with the ease of a child;
Remember that feeling all the while.
Times have been tough since Mother has gone,
But you and I can remain strong,
Keep that innocent smile alive,
